Update release for Connected Backup Software

We are currently in preparation for a mass deployment of the latest release of our PC & Laptop backup service, Connected 8.4.0.5. This new release brings enhancements to interoperability, improvements to deployment and fixes for known issues.

No action is required for customers at this point as the update is 100% automated. The next time you connect into our data centre the software will be downloaded and installed. There is no need to configure the update as your backup settings will be maintained and will work as normal.

Over the next week I will be monitoring the deployment, the status of customer’s backups and ensuring everyone gets the usual high level of support from my team.
