C Infinity uses the most reputable networking hardware provider, Cisco, as the basis on the network architecture. The network is protected by an active/passive Cisco ASA cluster. This provides the maximum of security to the C Infinity secure online backup service as well as to the managed hosting clients.

Fault tolerant networking is continued to the servers via redundant switches and network cards. This means that even if one switch or one firewall fails, the C Infinity and the clients’ networks will remain connected and online.

C Infinity provides 3 types of Internet connectivity for clients:

  • Premium: This 100% uptime SLA connectivity uses the DEG “mesh” to provide Internet access.
  • Standard: This is a lower cost service on a much larger Internet connection with 99.9% uptime SLA.
  • Dedicated: On rare occasions, customers may require a dedicated Internet connection. This may be installed on an as-required basis.
