If you are Mac user then you are probably well aware of the Macworld exhibition that just recently passed. A lot of companies were in attendance announcing all sorts of new product releases for Mac users, including our partner Iron Mountain Digital.
At Macworld 2009 Iron Mountain Digital announced (see here) the release of Connected Online Backup for the Mac O/S as part of their Storage-as-a-Service (STaaS) solutions. Release of the Mac agent is due to hit the public in March of this year.
As we are the only licensed provider of Iron Mountain Digital technology here in Ireland we at C Infinity will be ensuring the release of Connected Backups for the Mac will be widely available to the Irish market and to all our customers.
What is Connected Online Backup?
Connected online backup is specifically for desktop users providing daily backups of changes made to files (incremental backup).
The software agent itself is extremely easy to install, configure and use but yet, it’s an extremely powerful service thanks to the many features that are available behind the scenes. I’ll be talking more about these features in future blog posts so stay tuned.
