Roisin Cross Silks

When it came to the issue of protecting our business data we spent time researching our options. We wanted to deal with an Irish company and get a world class product as, like many, our data is critical to our business. We also wanted to avoid data backup becoming a burden on our company or an extra daily task.

We decided on C Infinity as they ticked all the above boxes and more. The process was seamless and straightforward. C Infinity took care of all the technical details, gave us a superior customer service and left us with a world class web enabled product which means we don’t have to manually do anything.
The ultimate benefit is in knowing that all our data is secure and retrievable no matter what may happen. C Infinity’s solution encrypts all our data and stores the data in a top data centre in Ireland, and they have a local presence so we know they are only a phone call away.

Roisin Cross Silks looks forward to working with C Infinity in the future and have recommended them to many business associates and colleagues.

About Roisin Cross Silks

Roisin Cross Silks is the largest supplier of silk in Ireland. The business was set up in 1978, based in Clonskeagh, and has won numerous awards over the years. Judith O’Sullivan now owns and runs the business following the retirement of Roisin Cross. The company is now entering a new era in its development. As well as the traditional silks long associated with the company, Roisin Cross Silks have now introduced silks suitable for Soft Furnishing’s. There’s an extraordinary collection to be seen at the new Dun Laoghaire premises – a range of coloured and embroidered silks that excite the imagination, redefine one’s thinking and overall appreciation and love of silk.

These new developments within the company were based on introducing Roisin Cross Silks to the Home. Consequently, marketing was essential. In particular the business embarked on an ecommerce strategy and developed a standalone website and associated activities.

Data protection then became a key issue to maintaining and sustaining the information built up in the business. As the business was developing at a healthy pace, more reliance was placed on accurate, timely and reliable data. Protecting this data was critical as the business became more dependent on it.
